Dolphin washed away at famous Maravante Beach

Kundapur, 14 Jan 2013: A nine-foot long dead dolphin was washed away at shore of Maravante in Arabian Sea, near here on Sunday January 13.

 


It was buried in a pit besides the shore by workmen employed by Gangolli sub-inspector and Coastguard personnel Taranat and others.  Gangolli 24x7 helpline volunteers assisted in this regard.


A massive dead-dolphin was washed ashore here during September 2012.
