Shirva: Grammatical teaching improves knowledge

Shirva, 22 July 2012: In the teaching of Kannada there is prominence for the grammar, which makes the language richer. Grammatical language teaching will improve the knowledge, said Shankarapura St. John’s High School Kannada Teacher Mohandas Shetty. He was speaking on the affective Kannada teaching, during the Teacher’s Conference held in Belman St. Joseph’s Higher Primary School Hall, which was jointly organized by Public Education Department, Nandalike of Belman Circle and Mundkur Cluster teachers.
On the dias Karkala Taluk Aided School Teacher’s Association President V.K. Rao Nandalike, Taluk Association Vice President Satish Shetty and IART Coordinator Asha were present. Nandalike Cluster Director Panduranga Shetty in his introductory note briefed on the department. Poornima Shenoy from Karkala Resource Centre briefed on the evaluation.
The program was presided over by St. Joseph School Headmistress Sr. Monica, who also welcomed the guests and the gathering. Mundkur Cluster Dorector Chandrakanta D’Sa introduced the resource persons and briefed on the programs in the month of August. Kedinje School Teacher Prathviraj Ballal conducted Chintana program. Nandalike Teacher Sumati led the prayers. Punarukere School Teacher Devadasa Patkar compeered the program. Panduranga Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
