Since this Bundh was called nation-wide, the Schools and Colleges were declared holiday on Monday itself. Holiday was declared on Tuesday for some Schools. But still some School - Colleges continued as usual. The labour unions had asked for the supports from the Bus owners, who responded in a surprising way as the buses were stopped only for some time.
The buses which operated from morning until 10.00 am, stopped from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. But again in the evening the buses operated as usual. Since most of the labour union workers were the employees of Banks, naturally the Banks were closed. But the Shops, Hotels, Government Offices were open and conducted the business as usual.
