Udupi, 25 January 2012: Communist Party of India (M) Udupi district Committee has accused of making differences among the castes in Shri Krishna Mutt and has organized to conduct a huge protest rally in Rathabeedi on 26th January 2012. Though the Kanakana Kindi which was formed for refusing Krishna darshana to the lower caste stands as an example against such differences, the differences are still taking place among the castes, in the dining halls during serving the food. There are four different categories for serving the food such as Madhwa Brahmana, Non Madhwa Brahmana, Officer – Politician – Special dignitaries and Common man. Opposing this practice the protest is being conducted, said Committee Secretary K. Shankar.
Recently in Kukke Subrahamanya made snana was conducted, even in Dharmastala there are two categories such as Brahmins and Non Brahmins.
