Shirva: ’Laws which protects you’ book released

Shirva, 17 January 2011: “Nimmannu Rakshisuva Kanoonugalu” (Laws which protects you) a book in Kannada by Shirva St. Mary’s College Kannada Lecturer N. Bhavanishankar was released by Udupi’s popular lawyer Asidulla, who said that, in this book it is written in detail that, when vehicle accident takes place what should be done. This write-up is new to Kannada. Excluding the personal and the national security information, our common citizens can obtain all other information within 30days by submitting the applications, he said.
Speaking further he said that, the book contains, what should be done to verify the documents in government offices, how to complain to Lokayukta, against the corrupt officers who do not work. How to get protected from the dowry related problems. What are the laws to protect from the harassment of Police, Nomination, Will, Power of Attorney, laws against the exploitation of women, all these have been explained. The writer has briefed the incidents of his life and has narrated it like a story and with more than 200 pictures made this into an beautiful book. This book takes us through like a story, he said.
College Principal Dr. John Clarence Miranda spoke on the occasion and released 6th print of the book ‘Learn Internet’ by N. Bhavanishankar and said that the jurisdiction of the books of N. Bhavanishankar has gone through Poetry, Drama, Computer, Internet, Personality development, Car driving and now has come to Law. He appreciated the writer for writing the books which create awareness among the people.
Dr. Padmanabha Bhat introduced the chief guests. Prof. Gopalakrishna Samaga proposed vote of thanks. Ashwin Lawrence Carnelio compeered the program.
