Kaup: Rotary Club distributes spectacles

Kaup, 28 November 2011: Sight is the most important thing in the life of humans and the associations should provide help to those poor who are suffering from the sight problems, said Kaup Vidyaniketana Correspondent K.P. Acharya. He was speaking upon distribution of spectacles to 131 persons at the Kaup Bhaskara Soudha, jointly organized by Kaup Rotary Club and Dakshina Kannada Blind Persons Seva Sangha on Sunday. He said that, the service activities of the Rotary Club is an example to other organizations.
Journalist Prakash Suvarna who was the Chief Guest of the program spoke on the occasion and said that, the International Rotary Club which is the voice of those who are suffering is a popular organization in the rural areas. Journalist Rajesh Kunjoor and Rotary Club Former President Raghu Poojary were on the dias. Kaup Rotary President Sadashiva Bhat presided over the program. Prabhakar Kini spoke with a introductory note. Shrinivasa Rao compeered the program. Secretary Manohar Rao proposed vote of thanks.
