Kollur: Yeddi conducts Yaga to get relived from problems

Kollur, 280 September 2011: Every time when he gets into problems, the former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddiurappa goes to temples and conducts Poojas and Yagas. Now may be with the fear of getting arrested, on Tuesday he conducted Chandika Yaga. On this occasion his sons B.Y. Raghavendra and B.Y. Vijayendra who are also involved in the land cases and other members of the family had participated.
Arriving in Kollur on Monday evening at 5.00 pm, Yddiurappa had Devi Darshana and participated in Devi Pooja in the night. Tuesday morning at 7.30 am he arrived at the temple and again had the Devi Darshana. Later he participated in the Chandika Homa. He walked for some time in the temple premises and then rested. Later at 10.30 am he participated in the Yaga Poornahuthi.
During the Yaga, attempt was made to keep the media away. Later speaking to the reporters he said that, he first prayed for the betterment of the people. Then he revealed the real reason, he said that he prayed for the resolving of his problems and he conducted the Yaga to get rid of the accusations on him which are baseless.
On this occasion Kundapura MLA Haladi Shrinivasa Shetty, Baindoor MLA K. Laxminarayana, BJP Jilla President Udayakumar Shetty and others were present.
