Shirva: First Kannada book on car driving released

Shirva, 23 September 2011: The first Kannada book on car driving and maintenance written by St. Mary’s Kannada Lecturer N. Bhavanishankar was released by Bajpe Niranjana Swamy Polytechnic’s Mechnical Department Lecturer M. Divakara Shetty. This is the first Kannada book in this subject. In this book the method of learning car driving, spare parts of the car, the functioning of these parts, the parts of the car that needs to be maintained, description of the traffic signals, preparation for the driving test and precautions to avoid accidents, are all written in a simple language. To brief all these, more than 300 pictures have been placed. This is an important book, said M. Divakara Shetty.
Another Chief Guest of the function K. Venkatesh Bhat from Laxmivenkatesh Driving School spoke on the occasion and said that in Science, first the theory is learned and then the practical’s. But while learning to drive the car the learner sits in front of the steering wheel and starts driving and he does not have any theoretical knowledge. This first book in this subject fulfils that need, he said.
On this occasion N. Bhavani Shankar’s new editions of books were released. With additional information 5th edition of book “Computer for who do not know” was released by Principal Dr. John Clarence Miranda and with additional information 5th edition of book “Learn Internet” was released by K. Venkatesh Bhat. Expressing his appreciation for reprinting these books within just 6 months time K. Venkatesh appreciated N. Bhavani Shankar for his efforts to providing the Scientific information in Kannada.
