Katpadi: S.V.S. College felicitates Former Principal

Katpadi, 18 July 2011: S.V.S. Pre University College felicitated P. Krishna Rao who has been the Principal of the College and was recently retired. In the felicitation program Senior Teacher of High School section C. Prabhakar and College Correspondent K. Ratnakara Kini conveyed their best wishes.

 
New Principal Dayananda Pai welcomed the guests and the gathering and also compeered the program. Social Studies Lecturer K. Zada Bharath Sharma proposed vote of thanks.

 

 Literature helps to express the feelings
 

Katpadi, 18 July 2011: To express the feelings the literature will help, said artist, writer Katapadi Catherine Rodrigues. She was speaking upon inaugurating the S.V.S. P.U. College Sahithya Kala Sangha. College Principal Dayanada Pai presided over the program. In his presidential address he said that students have the capacity to write, they have to use it properly and should use the opportunity during the stage wise various educational activities, he said.
 
Social Studies Lecturer K. Zada Bharath Sharma welcomed the guests and the gathering. Kannada Lecturer B. Baskara Kamath compeered the program. Hindi Lecturer Bansode Dilip Manik proposed vote of thanks.  

 

 Katpadi: Asheervachana by Shree at Guru Mutt 
 

Katpadi, 18 July 2011: Even though we go to many places for the pilgrimage, mother’s care and teacher’s feet are the most special place of pilgrimage, said Shree Kalahasthendra Saraswathi Mahaswameeji of Shrimad Jagadguru Anegundi Mahasanthsthana. He was giving asheervachana at Katapadi Shree Guru Mutt on the occasion of the beginning of the Chathurmasya Vrath.
 
Yathi’s who will be always on the pilgrimage travel, will stay in a place, conducts religious study and brief the same to the shishyas, as per the tradition, he said. Religious ceremonies were conducted under the leadership of Purohitha Akshayasharma Katapadi and Laxmikanthashrma Saligrama.
