It was a great occasion for the people of Konkani community and the people of Ahmadi Parish in Kuwait as Rony D’Cunha, the famous singer was awarded with the “Global Konkani Music Award-2010” in Male Category by Mandd Sobhann during the first World Konkani Cultural Convention.

Queen of Arabia Konkani Community Ahmadi Kuwait (QAKCA) celebrated the traditional ‘Monthi Fest’ (nativity Feast) and honored Blessed Infant Mary on her Birthday. The celebration was held on 10th September 2010 at Queen of Arabia Church, Ahmadi.

In preparation for the Nativity Feast, Queen of Arabia Konkani Community Ahmadi, Kuwait (QAKCA, Kuwait) organized a Singing Competition both Solo and Group. The Devotional Hymns dedicated to Mother Mary was the theme of the Singing Competition.
