Proceedings start in Ayodhya title suit case

Lucknow, 30 September 2010: The three-judge Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court started the proceedings to pronounce the judgement in the Ayodhya title suit at 3:30 PM on Thursday.

 

The litigants reached Court No. 21 of the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court after which Justice SU Khan, Justice Sudhir Agarwal and Justice DV Sharma started the proceedings. The title suit will decide who owns the 60 x 40 feet area on which the Babri Masjid once stood in Ayodhya.

 

Barricades have been erected about 100 metres from the court room and no one other than those connected with the case are being allowed anywhere near the court room.

 

 

 

Outside the court premises media personnel including many from foreign organisation were waiting for the pronouncement of the verdict. The media will get three separate brief copies of the judgement given by each of the three judges. The full judgement will also be uploaded on the High Court website.
