Covid-19: What to expect in Lockdown 5.0?
30 May 2020: After the end of lockdown 4.0 on May 31st, India is likely to enter into the fifth phase of lockdown. Also, Centre is likely to allow states to decide on next lockdown restrictions.
However, Sources claim, the panels, headed by CK Mishra and Dr VK Paul, have recommended lifting all other lockdown curbs except those on schools, colleges, movie halls and religious places
It is expected that more relaxations will be allowed in Lockdown 5.0 guidelines. Here are the relaxations that may be allowed:
1.Relaxing night curfew hours based on suggestions from experts.
2.Relaxations on visiting places of worship
3.More flight routes may be opened in Lockdown 5.0. Also, currently flights are allowed to carry passengers up to one-third of capacity which may be changed in the next phase.
4.There may be additional relaxations in train and bus services in the next lockdown.
5.Fifth phase of lockdown may have more relaxed measures for markets, shopping complexes and malls.
6.Decision of opening of restaurants and eateries will be left to the state government
7.Ministry of Education is also working on creating new guidelines to reopen schools and it is said that students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th are allowed to attend school with strict social distancing rules.
