Bishop Gerald Lobo interacts with Kuwait Pangla Association

Kuwait, 28 Apr 2014: Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo was on short visit to Kuwait to attend the silver jubilee celebrations of Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA). During this visit hehad a brief interaction with Kuwait Pangla Association members on 27th April 2014.
The members of the Kuwait Pangla Association (KPA) extended a warm welcome to theHE Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese at the Holy Family Cathedral Parish Hall (Diwaniya)on 27 April 2014. He was accompanied by our beloved Rev. Fr Noel from Kuwait.All the members along with their families werevery eager and enthusiastic to meet and greet the bishop.
The Vice President Mala Menezes accorded a grand welcome to Bishop andbriefedonKPAactivities and family get together during major feasts. She also highlighted a few charitable causes KPA is involved and help extended to under privileged back in Pangla. She also assured the Bishop of KPA ‘s full support in achieving his plans for the diocese.
Alvisha Noronha felicitatedBishop with a bouquet of flowers and the President Ignatius Quadras and the founder memberFedrick Quadrasfelicitated the Bishop by presenting a souvenir of love and appreciation.
HE Bishop Lobo then addressed the KPA members and enlightenedthe gathering of his vision and aspirations for the new diocese.
KPA secretary Wilson Cornelio proposed the vote of thanks.
