MANGALORE, 03 August 2010: Train services were disrupted on the Konkan Railway route for the eighth day on Monday and the authorities resorted to Short Route Termination/full termination/Diversion/Cancellation/Transshipment of train services due to landslide in sections between Nivsar and Adavali.

Train 0103 Dn CSTM-Madgaon Mandovi Express on Monday; 0104 Up Madgaon-CSTM Mandovi Express on Monday; 0111 Dn CSTM Madgaon Konkankanya Express on Monday; 0112 Up Madgaon CSTM Konkankanya Express on Monday; 2051 Dn CSTM Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Express on Monday; 2052 Up Madgaon-CSTM Jan Shatabdi Express on Monday; 2619 Dn LT T -Mangalore Matsyagandha Express on Monday ; 2620 Up Mangalore LT T Matsyagandha Express on Monday; 0216 Ernakulam Madgaon Express 0n Monday; 2977 Ernakulam-Ajmer Express on Sunday; 2133 CSTM-Karwar Express on Monday and KR8/KR7/ KR5/KR6 Passengers Train on Monday was cancelled between Ratnagiri-Sawantwadi-Ratnagiri.

2432 H Nizamuddin Trivandrum Express leaving from H Nizamuddin on Sunday via Panvel, Karjat, Pune, Londa, Miraj, and Madgaon ; 2484 Amritsar Kochuveli Express leaving from Amritsar on Sunday via Panvel, Karjat, Pune, Londa, Miraj, and Madgaon; 2202 Kochuveli LTT Garib Rath Express leaving from Kochuveli on Sunday via Madgaon, Londa, Miraj, Pune, Karjat and Panvel; 2997 Tirunelveli- Hapa Express leaving from Tirunelveli on Monday via Madgaon, Londa, Miraj, Pune, Karjat and Panvel .

 

Transshipment between Ratnagiri Adavali - Ratnagiri: 6345 LTT Trivandrum-Netravati Express leaving from LTT on Monday with 6346 Trivandrum LTT Express leaving from Trivandrum of Sunday; 2617 Ernakulam-H Nizamuddin Mangala Express leaving from Ernakulam on Sunday with 2618 H Nizamuddin-Ernakulam leaving from H Nizamuddin of Sunday.

 

The release stated that both diverted and transshipped services are likely to run inordinate delays. Hence public and passengers were requested to contact them on emergency telephone numbers: 9422969664, (02352) 228901 and (022) 10722 for correct and factual information and position / status of trains.

Very fast and nice arragments are made but it should be made public by media like TV and newspappers also so that prpoer and correct information will be availabe
