Mangalore: KSHEMA organizes CME Programme on Trans Haematology - 2014

Mangalore, 9 Aug 2014: K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) – department of pathology tin association with Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists – Karnataka Chapter organized an important Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programme on ‘Trans Haematology – 2014 at K S Hegde auditorium, Deralakatte, here on Saturday August 9.
This scientific programme mainly focused on various issues related with safe blood transfusion. Blood transfusion is a very important for a needy patient whenever there is a massive bleeding due to trauma or cancer related surgery.
KSHEMA dean Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, inaugurated the CME Programme here on Saturday morning.
KSHEMA registrar Dr Jayaprakash Shetty presided the programe.
KMC – Mangalore haematologist Dr Prashanth Haematologist, KMC – Manipal Dr Shamee Shastry, Dr Urmila Khadilkar, Dr Karuna Ramesh Kumar and Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences - Tirupati consultant Dr Arun were the resource persons.
Dr Kishan Prasad proposed the vote of thanks.
More than 150 delegates participated in this programme.
