Shirva: Free Health Checkup Camp on 19th Jun

Shirva, 19 June 2011: A free medical checkup camp will be held on Sunday 19th June 2011 in Shirva Community Health Center in the morning at 09.00 am by the Consultant Doctors from K.M.C. Hospital Mangalore. The camp is jointly organized by Community Health Centre Shirva, Rotary Club Shirva, St. Mary’s Old Students Association, Reddy’s Laboratory Hyderabad and Lions Club Manchakal.
In this camp there will be facility for the General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrician (for children), Gynecologist (for women), Skin, Bone, ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat), Eye testing and Blood testing. If further treatment is required a green card will be issued to avail concession of Rs. 5,000.
The organization jointly conducting this medical camp has called upon the public to make use of this camp for their health checkup.

I agree with Radmas Bhat. Theses camps are just ploy to atract poor gullible people to ther hospitals. Like fishing. People should be careful. I used to visit such camps in Shirva when I was in school and they used to refer us to their affiliated hospitals and we used top spend a lot money. | |

Though it looks good servive towards community I have a feeling that these are the camps to bring people to medical camps in order to attarct to their hospitals for further treatment and to make more money (by giving some dicount in the begining and later extort them in the name of further treatment) and Dr. Reddy s Lab is famous (or infamous) for their medical practice by giving commission on the drugs to the doctors who prescribed the medicine for the patients. |
