Udupi, 30 May 2011: A meeting between the MLA Raghupati Bhat, the board of directors, and workers of Brahmavar Sugar Factory held at Brahmavar in Udupi district has decided to sell 10 acres of factory land through public auction to pay the long-pending dues of workers and farmers.
Mr. Bhat confirmed the decision to The Hindu and said the dues of the workers would be cleared in one go. The dues of farmers would also be cleared subsequently.
