Zimbabwe elect to bat against Pakistan

Pallekele, 14 March 2011: Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in a group A World Cup match at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium here on Monday.
Pakistan made two changes, bringing in Wahab Riaz and Asad Shafiq in place of Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Akmal.
Zimbabwe gave tall right-arm seamer Shingi Masakadza his first game of the World Cup, while Vusi Sibanda is the other newcomer in their playing XI. He will replace injured Sean Williams.
