Mangalore: AYUSH Medical Officers celebrate Doctor’s Day

Mangalore, 1 Jul 2014: Karnataka state Government AYUSH Medical Officers Association, Dakshina Kannada district celebrated Doctors Day at district AYUSH Hospital, Hat Hill, here on Tuesday July 1.
The state health and family welfare minister’s special duty officer Dr Mohammed Iqbal was the chief guest expressed happiness over the services of Dakshina Kannada district AYUSH department. Dr Iqbal further said that Ayush Arogya Abhiyan is being organized to reach the benefits of AYUSH healthcare.
The Yunani practitioner Dr Sayyed Zahid Hussein who is serving in AYUSH department of district Wenlock Hospital was felicitated for earning patients trust since he joined government service.
Karnataka state Government AYUSH Medical Officers Association district unit president Dr Devdas presided the programme.
AYUSH medical officers Dr Vishwanat, Dr Manikarnika K A, Dr Sahana K, Dr Shobharani, Dr Mohammed Ashpak Hussein and Dr Rameschandra, AYUSH department staff were present on the occasion.
The secretary Dr Muralidar Ashrit welcomed the gathering. Dr Shamarao delivered the introductory address. Dr Sahana Pandurang proposed vote of thanks.
