Kundapur, 02 Feb 2014: Karnataka legislative assembly speaker Kagodu Timmappa offered unto the society the newly built Narayan Guru air-conditioned auditorium by Billawa Samaja Seva Sangh ® Kundapur at Gujjady Tunga Timma Poojary stage, Gandhi maidan, Kundapur, on Saturday January 31 morning.
Byndoor MLA K Gopal Poojary presided the programme.
Karnataka urban development and Udupi district-in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake released the commemorating bulletin.
Udupi – Chikmagalur MP K Jayaprakash Hegde offered motion for scholar fund.
Swami Vikyatanand of Bollottu mutt, Moodbidri graced the occasion.
The speaker Kagodu Timmappa in his inaugural address said that any contributions to society will be time memorial. There should be transparency in social service. One should not be bothered about what the society has done for oneself; instead one should think ways to return the debts of society. Billawa community has indeed contributed its mite for the society in general and the new generation will also follow the same ideal in life, said speaker Timmappa.
