Rev. Fr. Frederick Mascarenhas in his homily traced the life and virtues of the patron saint of the Kuntalnagar parish-St. Antony, the ‘Saint of miracles and prayers’. He said that individuals and families should take inspiration from the life and teachings of St. Antony. Pointing out the deep knowledge of St. Antony in Holy Scriptures, Fr. He admired the oratory skill of St. Antony and his devotion to Jesus and Mary. Fr. Mascarenhas made an appeal to the parishioners of Kuntalnagar to build the church beginning from the family and Small Christian Communities.
At the end of the feast mass, Fr. Jerome Monteiro thanked the Dean of Udupi Varado-Rev. Fr. Frederick Mascarenhas, the guest priests, the parish council, the choir and all those who had helped in organising the annual feast.

The choir trained by Br. Nelson Pais from St. Joseph’s Seminary raised the spirit of the feast mass through their melodious singing.
A number of devotees of St. Antony were seen lighting candles and praying in front of the statue enshrined in an altar outside the main entrance of the church.
After the fest mass, people thronged the stall of lucky games put up by the ICYM volunteers.
Happy Feast to all Parishners of Kuntalnagar.
