Ronald Colaco’s Clarks Exotica wins European Award in Vienna

Bangalore, 31 Dec 2013: In yet another sign of progress and prominence, Bangalore’s Clarks Exotica Hotel was awarded the most prestigious ’European Award for Best Practices 2013, instituted by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) in Vienna recently.

 

The Swiss based ESQR which is about thirty years old picked up the Bangalore hotel for the award which was presented during the convention held at Park Hotel Schonbrunn  recently in Vienna.  Owner of the Clarks Exotica Hotel, NRI and well known philanthropist Ronald Colaco received the award along with Vivek Kumar who manages the Bangalore hotel.  President of ESQR, Prof. Peter Crouch gave away the award along with a certificate at the ceremony where more than 75 business heads from around 63 countries covering the globe received ESQR awards at the convention.

 

Ronald Colaco was pleased with the award and appreciated the opportunity to meet several industry leaders at the convention in Vienna and thanked the organizers for honouring the hotel.  In fact, the award came  just after the Clarks Exotica Hotel received the International Quality Summit Gold Category Award from BID Spain in New York on May 27 this year.   The hotel has thus become the only Indian hotel to win the prestigious award in the hospitality sector in the entire country to receive two consecutive international awards from different well-known European agencies within a span of 6 months.

 

Ronald Colaco’s list of achievements are unparalleled and the philanthrophy has reached every nook and corner in India as well as abroad.  His support and contribution for  all needy causes has grown immensely over the years and the awards for his hotel are additional feathers to his beautiful cap.
