Clean Mangalore Campaign Kicks-off in Shivabagh Ward

Mangalore, 23 Aug 2013: Clean Mangalore Campaign was launched in Shivabagh ward, here on Thursday August 22 morning. 

MLA J R Lobo offered motion for Clean and Green Drive by picking the garbage in front of St Agnes College Road, Bendore and responsibly dropping it into the disposable bag thereby setting an example to citizens to follow the same in their localities and households.   It would improve the quality of life in the city. 

 

 

The former Mayor Judith Mascarenhas, several students of St Agnes Pre-University College, St Sebastian’s Kannada Medium School, teaching staff, nuns and residents of Shivabagh ward joined in the campaign to make the city clean and green in the neighbourhood.

Shivabagh corporator Sabita Misquit was also present on the occasion.
