Udupi: Swami Vishwapriya ceremoniously anoints successor Swami Eshapriya at Kunjarugiri

Udupi, 19 Jun 2014: Srisha, a native of Hiriyadka was anointed as successor of Swami Vishwapriya of Adamar mutt, during the Vedic rites held at Durgadevi temple, Kunjarugiri, near here on Thursday June 19.
The Vedic rite of chastity was performed on Srisha at the temple lake led by the scholars. Srisha was taken in a procession to Durgadevi temple, where Swami Vishwapriya anointed his successor Srisha and christened him ceremoniously as Swami Eshapriya.
Swami Vidhyadisha of Palimar mutt, Adamar mutt divan Venkataramana Mucchintaya, Adamar mutt guest house manager Govind Raj, the parents of Srisha, other devotees were present on the occasion.
