Udupi: Scholarship Distributed to mark Independence Day Celebration at Jnanaganga PU College, Nellik

August 15th 2013 Jnanganga P U College celebrated 67th Independence Day by unfolding the flag by college Principal Sri U L Bhat . In his speech he gave the message to hard work and earn; don’t follow the crooked path.
At 10.30 am all assembled in the college auditorium for college endowment scholarship and 13th year scholarship distribution for high school students by G.I.E.C Society.
The guests were invited by Sri Prabhakar S , secretary Jnanaganga P U College management committee. The scholarship list was read by College Principal and Sri Harish , college and high school students respectively. About 50 students were benefited under poverty cum progress basis. Some of the donors present on the occasion they were honoured.
In his speech chief guest Sri S N Hegde , Chairman, Vidyavardhaka Central School Shirva delivered aptly worded speech where he told about three themes of life as Attitude, Scarcity , Impact and advised the students. He showed his happiness about the environment of the college and praised by announcing an endowment scholarship.
Sri Gopikrishna founder president of the committee was present and advised the students to fight against the corruption and be a good citizen of India.
In his Presidential speech Sri Suresh Shetty , President of the committee advised the students to work hard , gave good wishes and praised the effort of the staff of the college.
The program was concluded by vote of thanks by Sri Srinivas Bhat , English lecturer and compeered by Mrs Kamalakshi Prakash .
