Mangalore: Times of Kudla, Kannada Weekly Promoted by Shashi Rai Released in City

Mangalore, 21 June, 2013 : Times of Kudla, Tulu weekly promoted by Shashi Rai was released during a function held at Town Hall here on Thursday June 20.

Kumbra Durgaprasad Rai presided the prograrmme.

Kannada Sahitya Parishat former president Harikrishna Punaroor released the first copy of Times of Kudla, Kannada weekly during the programme.

Times of Kudla, Tulu weekly editor-in-chief Vaman Idya, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Girish Shetty, DK working journalists Association president Harish Rai, former corporator Shashidar Hegde, Kadri Navneet Shetty, Kishore D Shetty, Dr Naveen Shetty, Sarvottam Anchan, Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy former president Sitaram Kulal and others were present at the occasion.

Shashi Rai welcomed the gathering.  Lokayya Shishila proposed vote of thanks.  Manjula Shetty compered the programme.
