Mangaluru, 12 Apr 2020: Easter Sunday - most auspicious day in Christian calendar, due to Covid-19 nationwide lockdown; all the churches are deserted in and around Mangaluru city. It seems Easter Sunday was observed in eerie silence for the first time in history of Christianity.
The people are used to these hard times; even the temples/mosques deserted ever since NGOs helping the needy poor laborers. Art of Living is one of them.
The residents are following Stay Home, Stay Safe appeal given by PM Narendra Modi to avoid community transmission of Covid-19.
