Udupi: Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake visits family of Missing Boy at Pamboor

Udupi, Feb 28, 2014 : The district-in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake on Thursday February 27, paid a visit to the family of five-year-old Naveen, who went missing from Dharmasri Colony, Pamboor – Padubelle, near Shirva, here on Sunday February 23.

 
The minister Vinay Kumar Sorake instructed the law enforcing agencies to intensify the search operation in tracing the missing boy Naveen.  He is the son of Nagaraj and Asha couple, residing in Dharmasri Colony, Pamboor – Padubelle, near here was reported missing while playing in the courtyard on Sunday February 23.

 

 
Nagaraj is a quarry worker and Asha is a daily wager is natives of Tamil Nadu (TN) worried about their son, while their in-laws have arrived from TN.

 

The policemen led by Shirva police sub-inspector Ashok are intensified the search for the missing boy who was not traced since over 4 days.  DySP Annamalai also paid a visit to the family and investigations are under way.

 
ZP member Ida Gilbert D’Souza and Belle gram panchayat member Harish Shetty also visited the family.

 
Over 150 daily wagers stage protest

 
The daily wagers and quarry workers in the surrounding areas of Pamboor and Padubelle staged protest along with Nagaraj and Asha couple, urging the police to find the missing boy.  They have also formed groups like police and are searching day and night without success so far.
