Udupi: Professionals form base of Rotary Club International – Dr Bharatesh

Udupi, 3 Oct 2013: All professions in the society are dignified.  Meanwhile, if one maintains ethics in his profession that gives him dignity and respect in the society.  If the society disregards people, then there prevails chaos.  Rotary Club International (RCI) issues membership only to those with good character and honest professionals.  RCI has the base of professionals, said RCI district 3180 designated governor Dr A Bharatesh.

Dr Bharatesh was the chief guest speaking during Rotary zonal convention that was organized at the sidelines of professional month celebration by RCI – Manipura, at Manipura gram panchayat auditorium, near here recently.

RCI zone 3 assistant governor Madhav Suvarna, zonal commandant Hariprakash Shetty Karkal, Jagannat Kote Katpady was present on the dais. 

 

All the dignitaries collectively showered flowers on the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi to pay their respect to father of nation on Gandhi Jayanti.

RCI zonal bulletin ‘Sandesha’ was released in the presence editor K Sadashev Bhat on the occasion.

The district RTI Committee president B Pundalika Marate Shirva, RCI former governor Raja Patrao, zonal secretary J C Salian, the office bearers of Rotary Clubs zone 12 were also present.

RCI – Manipura president Y Jayaram Shetty presided the function and welcomed the gathering.  RCI – Manipura secretary Herald D’Silva compered the programme.
