Mangalore: Konkani Natak Sabha organized 9th Inter Parish Biblical Skit Competition

Mangalore, 03 Sep 2013: Konkani Natak Sabha®, Mangalore organized 9th Inter Parish Biblical theme Skit competition at Don Bosco Hall, Mangalore on Sunday September 1.

 

4 parishes namely Paldane, Cordel, Vamanjoor and Permannur under the Mangalore Diocese participated in the competition.

 

Paldane Parish bagged the first place while Permannur Parish second place and Cordel Parish third place.

 

 

Fr Francis Rodrigues, Carmelita D’Souza and Daya Victor Lobo were the judges for the competition.

 

President Fr Peter Cyprian DSouza welcomed the gathering. Convenor Martin D’Souza compered the programme and introduced the judges. General Secretary Sunil Menezes proposed the vote of thanks. Convenor Gretta Rebello announced the results.

 

The Prize distribution Ceremony of all the competitions will be held on Saturday, the 21st September 2013 at 6 PM and 70th Annual Day Celebration will be held on Sunday the 29th September 2013 at 5.30PM at Don Bosco Hall, Mangalore with a Konkani social comedy play “Utre Uzwadle” written by Pradeep Barboza, Paladka.
