Kuwait: KWAK organized family picnic 2011

Kuwait, 31 October 2011: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait organized family picnic at Mushrif Gardens on 28 October, 2011.
The program started at 10.30am with prayer by Sport Coordinator Mrs. Leena Fernandes, and welcome address by President Mr. Edwerd D’Souza. After the breakfast many games were held. The entire gathered crowd participated and it was a fun filled morning.

 

A stage program was held in the Evening. The chief guest was Mr. Lawrence Saldahna, Founder President, Ex-Presidents Antony Miranda, Melwyn Mascaranhas, Henry Britto and all committee members were presided on the stage.

 

Mr. Lawrence Saldahna, in his speech appreciated the activities of the association and for organizing games like throw ball, Volleyball and prayed for the association’s future.

 

 

Several games were held and prizes were distributed by Chief Guest and committee members.

 

The food was prepared by Mrs. Iren D’Souza and family with the help of KWAK member and was served to all gathered people.
More than 300 people enjoyed this KWAK family picnic 2011.

 

The whole event was conducted by masters of ceremony Mr. Melwyn & Mr. Walter. KWAK General Secretary Mrs. Charlotte D’Souza proposed vote of thanks.
