Career Guidance Seminar held in St Lawrence PU College

Udupi/M’belle, 18 Sep 2013: Career Guidance seminar  was held for the students of Science Section of St. Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle on Saturday, 14 September 2013. Dr. Sudhamithi and Professor Narasimhan from Fr. Muller’s Hospital, Mangalore were the resource persons. They gave information regarding the prospects of medical education and profession.

Speaking at this occasion regarding the purpose of the seminar on career guidance, Fr. Paul Sequeira, Principal of St. Lawrence PU College said that because of lack of proper guidance during the PUC studies to shape their career, many students give up higher education after PUC.  Hence, it is very important to organize career guidance seminars like this one and give proper guidance to the students to choose their  courses and profession. 

 

 

Through their interesting talk, Dr. Sudhamathi  and Prof. Narasimhan gave ample information to the students regarding different branches in medical education.

Sara D’Souza, Second Year PU Science student welcomed the guests, Sampat Shenoy compeered the programme  and Eva Jennifer Martis of First Year PU Science proposed the vote of thanks. All the staff members and students of PU Sc science section were present for the seminar.
