NSS – Replica of Youth Energy: Dr Vasudev Upadhyaya

Udupi, 18 Aug 2013: National Social Service (NSS) units are training centers in inculcating discipline, service attitude, patriotism and social welfare activities thereby creating national harmony.  NSS is the replica of youth energy, said Shirva – community health center medical officer Dr Vasudev Upadhyaya.

 

Dr Vasudev was speaking after inaugurating NSS unit at Hindu Pre-University College, Shirva, near here on Thursday August 15.
The College principal Rajgopal in his presidential address said that NSS unit is the guiding force to create better future by keeping away from unhealthy habits and to eliminate orphaned sense among the students in the chaotic world, said Rajgopal.
The lecturer Laxmi Deviprakash welcomed the gathering.  Suraksha compered the programme.  The students’ leader Lohit proposed vote of thanks.
