Aarushi’s father Rajesh Talwar stabbed outside court

Ghaziabad, 25 January 2011: In a sensational development, Aarushi’s father Rajesh Talwar was on Tuesday attacked by an unidentified man inside the CBI special court premises, where he had gone to attend the hearing in the murder case of his daughter.

As per reports, a young man, said to be from Lucknow, attacked Talwar on his face with a sharp object while he was talking to media persons inside the court premises. A bleeding Talwar has been rushed to the Sarvodaya Hospital in the city.

 
Sources told media that the attacker has claimed to a writer and had attacked Talwar with a broken piece of glass. The attacker was cornered by the people present at the spot. He was roughed up and handed over to the police.

 
Following the attack, the lawyers are protesting against the police.

Following the attack, the court has postponed the hearing on CBI’s closure report to Feb 8.
