Mother and Son die in K.S.R.T. Bus and Car accident

Muloor, 20 November 2010: Mother and son who were in the car died and three more injured in the accident between KSRTC bus and Innova car took place near Muloor Babbarya temple on Thursday night around 08.00 pm. The deceased are Jaibuneesa (45) and her son Shohil (23) from Uchchila.

 

 

Anwar husband of Jaibuneesa who was driving the car, Rafique and Abdulla who were in the car were injured in the accident. This mishap happened when they were returning from Udupi to their home. The injured are being treated at a private hospital in Udupi.

 

The car which was coming from Udupi collided with Govt. Volvo bus and with the impact the left side of the car has crashed and those who were in the left side died on the spot. Hundreds of people gathered at the accident spot. Some of them expressed their anger by pelting stones at the bus.

 

Circle Inspector Cheluvaraj arrived to the aaccident spot upon hearing the news and the damaged vehicles were cleared from the place.
