Rise in Petrol Price saw huge rush at Petrol Stations

Udupi:  24 May 2012:  On a sudden announcement from the Central Government that the price of petrol and diesel shall be increased, all petrol bunks in the Udupi District were filled with Vehicle owners and there was a lot of commotion in the petrol pumps.

 

 
As the news channels announced the price and diesel to increase from mid night on Wednesday all the vehicle owners rushed to the near by petrol bunks to fill in the petrol.  The rush was seen from 7.00 to 8.0pm at the petrol bunks of the district.  However, as soon as the news was announced, some of the petrol bunks closed early on the intension of much profit on an increased price on Wednesday.  Due to these closer those vehicle owners who wanted to save money by filling the petrol today itself has to return cursing the petrol bunk owners and very disappointed.
