Mumbai, 3 Jun 2014: Mumbai north Borivali MP Gopal C Shetty on Tuesday June 2 expressed condolences on the sudden demise of Maharashtra’s former CM, BJP veteran leader and union rural development minister Gopinat Munde owing to road mishap at New Delhi.
MP Gopal in his condolence message said, ‘I have been associated with Munde for the past 3 decades and learned the leadership skills from him. The nation has lost a potential minister and great loss to Maharashtra and BJP. He was a grassroot leader and his untimely death has caused deep agony. Let God grant graces to his family, BJP – Shiv Sena leaders, party activists to bear the great loss, said MP Gopal.
L V Amin , BJP veter leader and former president of south India BJP Mumbai unit in his condolence message said, ‘I have learned the organizing skills of Munde when he was the deputy CM of Maharashtra and I was the BJP president of Santacruz legislative assembly constituency. Its indeed unbearable loss for the nation as Munde was motivational force for party activists. May his soul rest in peace,’ said Amin.
No sooner the mortal remains of Munde arrived at the party office in the metro, MP Gopal , L V amin, south India BJP Mira – Bhayandar unit president Munnalaiguttu Sacchidanand Shetty, Vishwanat U mada and other Tulu – Kannadiga BJP leaders, party activists offered their last tributes.
Meanwhile, Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha Maharashtra ® member and artist Jaya C Salian offered his last tributes by sketching the pencil art.
