Udupi, 25 Mar 2017: The media has been contributing in promoting Tulu. Of late, more new Tulu movies are being premiered, while the government need to extend more support in producing Tulu movies of mass appeal, said Swami Vishvesha of Pejavar mutt.
Swami Vishvesha was speaking after releasing the audio of Tulu movie, Rangda Rang Dibbana, produced under the banner Warin Combines, at Sri Krishna mutt, here, on Thursday, March 23.
The talented youngsters of coastal district produced a movie to create mass appeal on perils of drugs, said Swami Vishvesha. He hoped the movie completes the milestone of 100 days in theaters.
Swami also felicitated the movie producer Sharat Kotian and director Krishnaprasad Uppinakote on the same occasion.
The music director S P Chandrakant said that there are 7 hit songs that are sung by bollywood renowned singers Udit Narayan, Javed Ali, Priya Himesh, Vinuta Kartik, Anuradha Bhat, Pratima Bhat and Dr Vijay that has same bollywood melodies.
The movie heros Raviraj Shetty and Prashant Samaga, heroines Swati Bangera and Samhita Shah, Tulu movie producer and director Prakash Pandeshwar, Prime TV director Roopesh Kalmady, movie director Rajesh Brahmavar, N R K Vishwanat, journalist Jagannat Shetty Bala, Ranjit Suvarna, Madhu Suratkal, choreographer Tamma Laxman and others were present.
