Mangaluru: MLA J R Lobo lays foundation for concreting Old Port Road @ Rs 1 crore

Mangaluru, 20 Oct 2017: The state administration sanctioned Rs 100 lac for concreting Old Port Road from Hamilton Circle, focusing on infrastructural development of Old Port, said MLA J R Lobo.

 

 

MLA Lobo was speaking after laying foundation for road works at Hamilton Circle, here, on Thursday, October 19.

 

He further said that both state and central government sanctioned Rs 100 crore for infrastructural development of fisheries port (old port), with state government contributing 60 percent and union government 40 percent.

 

Badriya College principal Ismail, corporator Abdul Latif, Land Tribunal Council member Denis D’Silva, Aslam, Nelson Monteiro, D M Mustafa, assistant executive engineer Ravi Kumar, assistant engineer Ratnakar and others were present.
