Bantwal: CM Siddaramaiah to inaugurate mega projects envisioned by minister Rai on Oct 22

Bantwal, 18 Oct 2017: The development works that are conceptualised by state forests and DK district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai and MLA of Bantwal at the taluk center, B C Road, here, are ready for inaugural. CM Siddaramaiah will be arriving here on Sunday, October 22, to inaugurate many new buildings and drinking water project; besides lay foundation for other infrastructural developments.
The preliminary meetings are held presided by minister Rai for the milestone event. A booklet on the achievement of executing various development works by different departments in Bantwal taluk will be released during the programme by CM Siddaramaiah.
The newly built Mini Vidhan Soudha, MESCOM building, KSRTC bus stand, 100-bedded hospital, circuit house, Tree Park and Integral Drinking Water project are set for inaugural.
The foundation will be laid for Panje Mangesh Rao memorial building, Bahu Gram Drinking Water Project for Mani-Sarapady-Narikombu and vented dam.
Landscape of taluk center - B C Road changed in 10 years
Bantwal taluk formed part of Vittal legislative assembly constituency till 2008. Meanwhile, it was restructured to be independent constituency since 2008. As minister Ramanath was elected MLA of Bantwal during 2008 and 2013 legislative assembly elections; Bantwal taluk gained prominence and its landscape has fully changed with infrastructural developments as envisioned by minister Rai.
