Mangaluru, 10 Oct 2017: While addressing the participants of a month-long training program for IBPS aspirants of Mangaluru organized by Corporation Bank Officers’ Organization (CBOO), during its valediction, the general secretary of CBOO, Satish Shetty has narrated the incidents of bank profession in helping the people in need of finance to build their career and employment. He has also quoted examples of many business magnets how they have grown with the bank. He was specific in advising the participants that bankers have great role and responsibility for good economy of the country.

 

Lakshminath Reddy, general manager of Corporation Bank addressing the gathering as a chief guest said, ‘You love your work, it will give you satisfaction. A banker deals with all category of people in the world whether a rich man or poorest, whether a businessman or farmer. The banker enjoys the progress of others as his growth is in the success of others.’ He has explained in detail the opportunities and emoluments in banking sector. He has also narrated how they can become a part of a profession which is in forefront in nation building.

 

 

Corporation Bank Officers’ Organization organized this training program to encourage the employment aspirants of Dakshina Kannada to take up banking profession. Its own members like R K Balachandra, Premanand and Srinivasan have trained the participants covering the important aspects of IBPS exam. The participants have expressed their gratitude for such a nice program free of cost and they have all appreciation about the quality and contents of the program. The participants have also requested CBOO to continue to do such programs in future also so as to help other aspirants in future.

 

Resource person R K Balachandra advised the participants that success has no short cut and the only short cut for success is hard work. In today’s environment it is not only the education but good culture is also important. As such he told as a curriculum those aspects were also covered to imbibe good qualities in the participants, which will help them in going up in their career. Another Resource person Premanand has blessed the participants for a great career ahead. Ekanath Baliga, president of CBOO has explained the reason behind such program and also informed that it is the first such program conducted by a Trade Union in PAN India.

 

The program commenced with welcome address by Prakash Rao, secretary, Benevolent Fund, CBOO. Sharath Kumar invoked the blessings of Almighty with his beautiful prayer. Amongst the participants Ashwita, Hasnain, Neha, Abhinandan have expressed their views about the program. The valediction program concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Raman Prasad, secretary Balasubramaniam Foundation for Education and Training, CBOO.
