Mangaluru: KSHEMA signs MoU with ICAR-CPCRI

Mangaluru, 22 Aug 2017: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed and exchanged between Dr P Chowdappa, director, ICAR-CPCRI and Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Dean, K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA), Nitte University, here, on August 18, related to collaborative research work on antidiabetic, antiobesity and radio protective efficacy of  tender coconut water, coconut palm sugar and virgin coconut oil in the presence of Dr Suchetha Kumari Professor, department of biochemistry, Shilpa S Shetty, research assistant, CRL  from KSHEMA  and Dr K B Hebbar, head, PB and PHT Division, Dr K. Muralidharan, Pr Scientist, Dr Bhanuprakash, Pr Scientist, Dr S V Ramesh, Scientist, M Arivalagan, Scientist and Dr Shameena Beegum, Scientist from CPCRI who were instrumental in planning the research co-operation between KSHEMA, Nitte University and ICAR-CPCRI.
