Mangaluru: State-run hostel students get SSLC exam revision training

Mangaluru, 26 Mar 2017: A motivational and SSLC exam preparation workshop by Satellite Communication Group (SATCOM) was held for the students living in state-run hostels, here on Saturday, March 25.
Abdul Nazeer Saab Rural Development Organization, Mysuru organized the training workshop to the students at ZP auditorium, here, to teach them mathematics, science, English and social studies.
DK ZP chief executive officer Dr M R Ravi after inaugurating the workshop, appealed the students not to fear the exams. He also advised them not to compare their revisions with others and try to memorize whatever they have studied. ‘The adjusting time is quite important,’ said Dr Ravi.
The DDPI Walter D’Mello said that this time question papers and answer sheets are given separately in this year SSLC exam, in order to avoid chaos at the last minute.
ZP deputy secretary N R Umesh was present.
Abdul Nazeer Saab Rural Development Organization director Pranesh Rao in his welcome address said that it’s for the first time in Karnataka SSLC exam preparations are being held through Satcom.
Around 557 students living in the hostels run by social welfare, ITDP, backward classes and minority welfare departments partaken in the training workshop.
