Kevin Misquith to present live-in concert for charity at Talapady

Mangaluru, 08 Feb 2017: Kevin Misquith, the heart  throb of Konkani music lovers is all set to present his 43rd music concert at Maria Ashram Church Grounds, Talapady, near here on Sunday, February 12.

 

The concert is being organized by ICYM Kasargod deanery, in aid of a noble cause to support the medical needs of a fellow youth of Ukkinadka parish.

 

It incidentally happens that the youth of the deanery when approached Kevin Misquith to help them raise funds for their cause Kevin Misquith not only helped them but also promised to  help raise funds by performing for free to help a fellow youth in much need.

 

Zerald Rodrigues, S/o late Sebastian Rodrigues, aged 31 years hailing from Ukkinadka Kasargod, is suffering from Chronic Renal Failure. He is advice to undergo dialysis treatment twice a week. The cost of the same per month is Rs 15,000. Renal transplant is the second option for long term survival. The approximate anticipated expenses would be costing Rs 12 lac and hereby is requesting your help for the same.

 

All the funds raised by the concert will directly go for the treatment of medical expenses of the needy youth.

The concert incidentally coincides with the time when Kevin Misquith started his musical journey with his first concert way back in 2007. It is a noble way to celebrate the occasion with music for a noble cause opines Kevin.

 

 

Kevin started his musical journey on Feb 11, 2007 with his first music concert in Don Bosco Hall, Mangaluru. He has since then performed 42 of his concerts along with many other shows and 6 albums to his credit.

 

Kevin will also perform in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain on February 17 and February 24.
