Bantwal: Marauding truck kills young motorcyclist near Kalladka, NH 75

Bantwal, 02 Dec 2016: A young motorcyclist was died instantly in a ghastly road mishap on Mangaluru – Bengaluru NH 75 at Kudrebettu, near Kalladka, here on Thursday, December 1 afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Sudarshan Shenoy, son of Devdas Shenoy, resident of Bolangady, near Melkar.
Sudarshan was riding towards Mangaluru from Puttur, when a marauding truck collided, sources informed.
He was staying with his parents at Puttur and was employed in Ideal Ice Cream Parlor at City Centre, Mangaluru. He left his home to work at 11.00am on his motorcycle that collided with the truck. The driver of the truck entangled in debris was rescued by the locals as it rammed nearby tree.
Bantwal traffic sub-inspector Chandrashekarayya registered a case in this regard and further investigations are underway.
Meanwhile, the body of Sudarshan was taken to Government Hospital at Bantwal town where autopsy was done and handed over to his family.
