Mumbai: Konkani Seva Mandal of Goregaon (W) parish celebrates Monti Fest

Mumbai, 14 Sep 2016: Konkani Seva Mandal of Our Lady of Rosary parish, Goregaon (West) here celebrated Monti Fest on Sunday September 11 after 7.00am Konkani Mass.

 

The new paddy sheaves were blessed during the Eucharistic Celebration.

 

The variety cultural events were held at the parish school hall followed by the traditional fellowship meal of Novem Jevaan, was held at the basement floor of parish school.

 

 

Goregaon (West) former parish priest Fr Richard Crasto was the chief guest of the occasion.

 

It was tenth successive event organized by Konkani Seva Mandal.

 

The sugarcanes were distributed to the gathering of over 300 people.
