Doha: KSQ set to celebrate 60th Karnataka Rajyotsava on Nov 20

Doha-Qatar, 15 Nov 2015: Karnataka Sangha Qata, a frontline socio cultural group affiliated to ICC, set to celebrate its ‘6oth Karnataka Rajyotsava’ at Delhi Public School Auditorium Al Wakrah on 20th November 2015.
KSQ president H.K. Madhu told media that, this year Karnataka State Govt. Cabinet Minister Umashree will be gracing the occasion as a Chief Guest and from Karnataka renowned poet, Novelist, writer Dr.H.S.Venkatesh Murthy will be a guest of honor.
Dr. H.S.Venkatesha Murthy, hailing from Hodigere in Davanagere district, he was a Professor in St.Joseph college of commerce, Bangalore. He is recognized as post-navya writer who is also well known as Bhavageete poet. He is also considered as a blend of two well-known literary themes in Kannada - pre-navya and post-navya. H.S.Venkatesha Murthy is also known for his writings for children, known as bala-sahitya in Kannada.
There will be cultural programmes from different Karnataka Based Associations MCC, Tulu Koota Qatar, Bunts Qatar, Billava Sangha Qatar, SKMWA and KMCA. The Main attraction of the evening will be a Karnataka Vaibhava Ballet from Prabhat Kalavidaru. America America cinema fame actress Hema Panchamukhi along with Deepashree and Harish will be staging with other artistes of Prabhath Kalavidaru.
Prabhat Kalavidaru is a theatre group based in Bangalore, India. Started in the year 1930, this group has staged many drama performances and is famous for its ballets. One of the most popular of their ballets is Cinderella, based on the English fairy tale and since 1977, has been staged more than a thousand times by the troupe. Prabhat Kalavidaru has produced about 20 ballets; some of which are Mohini Bhasmasura, Karnataka Vaibhava, Kindari Jogi, Rama Pratiksha, and Punyakoti. Prabhat Kalavidaru were one of first theatre groups in India to introduce pre-recorded dialogues and lip-synchronisation. To compose songs and music for their plays, the troupe had built a small recording studio in their house itself. They also manufacture the masks, headgear, shields, swords, silk and velvet costumes needed for the plays. Creation of a play is a complex task and it takes about two years and a budget of about Rs. 1 to 1.5 million for the group to produce a play.
KSQ President told that it will be a memorable, colorful celebration of 60th Karnataka Rajyotsava in Qatar and invited all the Qatar Kannadigas to join in celebration.
