Biriyani (Beef / Mutton / Chicken / Prawn)

Ingrediants:
- 500 to 700 gms meat
- 1 kg Basmati rice
- 300 gms (4 pcs) onion chopped
- 300 gms (4 pcs) tomato chopped
- 2 tble spoons ginger (paste)
- 2 tble spoons garlic (paste)
- 100 gm (1 cup) plain yogurt
- 150 gms (11/2 cup) ghee/oil
- 1 tble spoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 tea spoon garam masala powder
- 1 tea spoon poppy seed paste
Description:
Cut the meat into cubes and wash and soak for 30 minutes Wash rice and half boil and keep aside
Take a non stick pan and heat oil and fry onion till golden brown, add chopped tomato and fry until it turns into paste, add meat, yoghurt, ginger garlic paste, termeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, paste of poppy seeds, salt for taste and cook for 15 minutes.
Add 2 cup of water and cook on low flame till meat is tender and greassy thickness. Take a seperate vessel and put the rice and cooked meat into layers and keep in low flame for 10 minutes.
