Mangaluru, 09 Oct 2017: Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) always taken the cause of Karnataka and nation by leading the youth community, said KRV Chikmagalur and DK districts president Jagadish Aras Tegoor.
Jagadish was speaking after inaugurating KRV – Ullal unit, at Ullal Community Building, here, on Friday, October 7.
He also said, ‘Communal flare-ups are common in Ullal, while KRV will strive to unite the people for common good on the basis of Kannada. It will become a platform to address the grievances of people for peaceful living,’ said Jagadish.
KRV Dakshina Kannada district president Anil Das, district spokesperson Mohashir Ahmed Samanige, also addressed the gathering.
Ullal town councilor Hussein Kunhimon inaugurated KRV – Ullal unit.
Vani Alva, Farouq Ullal, Zaria Ibrahim, KRV DK district legal advisor Mayoor Kirti and others were present.
The retired Kannada teacher G Ramachandra Bhat who retired after serving 36 years and 5 students who secured highest marks in Kannada were felicitated on the same occasion.
