Measles & Rubella vaccine administered to Special children of Manasa, Pamboor

Udupi, 24 Feb 2017: The measles and rubella vaccine campaign was held at Manasa Special School, Pamboor, near Bantakal, here on Wednesday, February 22.

 

Dr Bharat, resident medical officer of state-run Community Hospital, Shirva, near here inaugurated the campaign and offered info about the diseases measles and rubella and vaccine to maintain immunity.

 

 

Belle gram panchayat president Ranjani Hegde was present.

 

Manasa Special School chairman Henry Menezes, administrator Joseph Noronha, principal Sr Ancilla, nurses of community Hospital, Asha health activists, children’s nursery teachers, parents of children were present.

 

The vaccine was administered to 51 special children of Manasa on the occasion.
